Appointments
We know that you have many choices when choosing a Podiatrist in the San Francisco/Bay Area, so we have made requesting an appointment a simple process either by calling our office or via our web site. If you have a more urgent medical problem, we suggest that you call our office directly as soon as possible. Please note that appointment requests made via our website will be retrieved one to two times a day and you will receive a return telephone call from our scheduling coordinator.

If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, please call as soon as possible. Charges may be incurred for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

Insurance
Our office accepts a variety of HMO's, PPO's and other health plans. If you have an HMO plan, please check to make sure you are not aligned with a medical group or IPA that may require that you only see specialists within that group. If you do have an HMO plan, please make sure to request a referral from your Primary Care Physician to be seen by one of our podiatrists as we are considered a "specialist" on your health plan. You may also call our office or your insurance carrier to verify our acceptance of your insurance plan.

Financial Responsibility
We are happy to submit medical claims for covered services to your insurance carrier. Patients are expected to present their current insurance information or update us on any changes at each visit.

Payment is expected at the conclusion of the visit for any non-covered services or items. Please contact our office manager if you need to discuss arranging a payment plan.

Our Staff
Our support staff is friendly and accommodating and is trained to assist you with the majority of your needs or questions. They can assist with scheduling appointments or surgeries, reviewing statements, discussing insurance Explanation of Benefits, or providing directions to our office.
